Default IS-F here on December

Just contacted my local dealer and they informed me that the 08 IS-F is set for November production that means our area will get it in late December 07. You guys in the states will probably get yours in early to mid January 08. So far in my past experience we get the new models a few weeks before the mainlands due to the close proximity to Japan. No pricing yet but he is going to give me a call when he is ready to accept orders (by October or November).

Chamorros get Lexus' directly through a distributor. As far as getting them before us here in the mainland, it is HIGHLY unlikely considering the IS-F's launch is slated for Lexus' largest market, the mainland United States.

Interesting. I based on my past experience. We received the GS450h a couple of weeks before the mainland. https://www.clublexus.com/forums/sho...d.php?t=210134

I recall that other models that we alse received before the mainland were RX330 and the SC430.

https://www.clublexus.com/forums/rx-2nd-gen-2004-2009/76436-it-s-here.html

We had the first RX400h 2 wheel drive when the RX400h was first introduced. 4 wheel drive models were only offered for US market but we got front wheel drive only model also. Strange. https://www.clublexus.com/forums/sho...d.php?t=163798

Proximity to Japan is the key. We received those models for sale not too many days after not weeks.

Edit: BTW we have had IS-F's already here. We were the first ever to ride in the IS-F at Laguna Seca 2 weeks ago.

heh...I don't know if Guam has a full size race track so maybe that's why they didn't get to test drive it?...haha...

Guam doesn't have a race track. Only a drag strip and whatever the off-road trucks use so IS-Fs here is a "nice-to-have" option since there's really nowhere you can drive it (legally that is).

heh...yea...but I think if I get it I would take it to a track at least once to test it out on a course...
