Cool US Open / Roger Federer wins IS-F (merged threads)

Hey guys as yall know, the winner of the US Open was going to be awarded an IS-F. He got like 2.5 million along with the keys of the IS-F. I guess he's going to be the first owner. I wonder if he would let us guys at Club Lexus borrow it for a week or two. Lucky guy

Default The winner of the US opens gets an ISF, but pricing hasn't even come out....

to us interested consumers. What the hell. Why do they keep us wondering for so long. Do they think that if we in the market for a car now it would stop us from buying an S4 or RS4.

I agree. Lexus shouldn't keep everyone waiting so long for the pricing and options information. I bet they still are "researching" how they should price the car, but it's crazy that they give one away and still don't tell us anything. There are some that say we may have to wait until SEMA, but that is a very long way off...sigh...

Maybe Oprah Winfrey could surprise everyone in her audience and give them all an IS-F Ha haa!

Just seems kinda weird to me that they are popping up everywhere and still no info. I mean Roger Federer is going to get one here next week and he is "public" so what the hell. It is weird that they are keeping everything so hush hush, but at the same time expecting it to be well marketed. The prestige is wearing off by this delayed info. To be honest, if I were in the market right now, I would not wait. I would get an RS4. But I have 250 with only 6000 miles so I am forced to wait. I imagine I will get rid of my car with 20K-30K which is only about 12-16 months of ownership. I am already 3 months into ownership.

Even more interesting is there is no tech data to support the IS-F on TIS. I wonder who is going to service these early cars.

Default Federer wins IS-F

Not sure if any of you watched the U.S. Open tennis finals yesterday, but Roger Federer won. It was sponsored by Lexus and in the trophy ceremony Federer was presented with the key fob for a new IS-F in addition to the $2.4 million. I heard it was on display at the tournament. What a nice prize!
