Very nice.

But, I have a stupid question: why do they have all the headings in english, but everything else is Japanese ???

Did you guys check out the website? Some more nice stuff there. I wish Lexus USA would get that thing translated & active over here.

japanese language isnt as flexible as english, they dont have a symbol or a word for every single thing or concept like english can

Wrong. In fact, if anything Japanese is more flexible and precise than western languages in expressing ideas since it uses Kanji. They love English as a way to be more cosmopolitan in their product advertising. Problem is that they twist it and mangle it to the point that we have no idea what they are really trying to say.

And from reading some of these captions, what you are seeing in Japanese are just borrowed English words written in Katakana script. Let's just hope they hire a native english speaker for the North American version of the catalog.

It's definitely a marketing issue - one thing is that English provides a lot more flexibility in terms of font and other stylistic variation. For example, just look at how many English fonts are available on your computer or basic word processing software. You can't do much of that with kanji before making it totally illegible. There is calligraphy that even native speakers/readers can't decipher.
