Default Edmunds tests IS-F ... doesn't seem to like it. With Video.

They said that the suspension is overly hard and stated in their comments that the: "Short-travel suspension rides like aftermarket job." Even full on sports cars now ride somewhat well, I guess. They also said that the steering wasn't that great because of the two mode electric system. They also got a pretty slow 0-60 time of 4.8 seconds but their times on automatic cars are generally slower than everyone else but I think that the 335 got a similar time. The styling is subjective but they didn't seem to like the quad exhaust. But the cheesiest part is that the quad exhaust resonators are just for looks and not actually connected to the exhaust ... wtf .... that's pontiac level cheese. Give me a regular is350 any day. Video after the jump.

I was also surprised when they had the picture about the exhaust resonators being just a part of the bumpers, and not connected directly to the mufflers.

its just funny when some reviewers, for instance, say the IS350 is too soft for the track - this poridge is too cold. Then something comes out like the IS-F and then they turn around and say - this poridge is too hot. Oh well

I actually noticed the muffler thing awhile back. it was very clear in some pictures that it wasn't part of the muffler.

Yeah I hope that's not true. 200-300/year is simply ridiculous. As good as the IS-F is, it's not an exotic!!

And yeah, the disconnected "exhaust decorations" are really a turn-off. At least it's got the performance to back it up to avoid being called a ricer.

I had seen that on here before, but I thought the poster was joking.

The reality is even more funny!

With options this thing is going to be close to $70K OTD. That is pretty elite company. Maybe limiting production to 400 per year isn't such a bad idea.

That "exhaust" picture above is hilarious.

a big +1

seems like the IS-F is constantly taking hits now.....price/exhaust/etc...

personally I love a great handling car and a firm ride...if I want it to ride like a cadillac, I'll buy a cadillac.

right, but at least the tips are ATTACHED to the muffler. Alot of cars have dual or quad exhaust coming from a single manifold btw.

Oh, yes I did! That LS460 exhaust is an abomination. Having exhaust pipe outlets without having the vehicles exhaust system hooked to them is both cheesy and something a poseur might do. A "no exhaust" look, such as the old lesser variants of the 5-series BMW had would be preferable to this...at least you could call that "clean"
