The fact that this car is so capable, so fast, and so unflappable is a testament to the seriousness with which it was developed.

I don't really understand the griping about the exhaust pipes. Most cars furnish only tips that are large and polished; the rest of it is just regular old piping. Nothing special.

IMO, Lexus' rendition is simply another take on the idea of a decorative exhaust and considering repair costs and other things, it makes a good bit of sense to me.

Get over it. Body kits, air dams, and fender flares are also "just for show" and half the persona of these cars is looking the part.

I would not call this a completely positive review . . .

A particular German automobile comes to mind that doesn't have oil dipsticks, spare tires or water temperature gauges.

Who's the serious one again?

IMO that's not so big of a deal, it's Edmunds nitpicking and using that to discredit the car overall. And posting that pic over and over when it's not even part of this review is a bit like spamming. Besides, considering the way Lexus responds to reviews, there's a good chance...like the VDIM button or other things...it might get changed in later years, who knows.

Interesting review from Motive Mag. Looking for both positive and negative, balanced reviews.
