IS F NM SBS 33 of ___ (50)
I'm a new member here to CL, but I go way back in the Lexus family. I started selling Lexus with a salesman, Amir Omar, in Dallas, TX way back when I was about 18. We had a website and people would come to our website to get info that Lexus.com didn't have. We were selling Lexus' on the internet before anybody pretty much, 1997 or so. I was making side money doing the website from home, it was obviously great. Good memories. Carl Sewell at the time wasn't sure if this internet thing was gonna work out, they weren't committed. LOL!
Anyways, being the Lexus nut that I am I called and got an IS F Neiman Marcus SBS. It seemed to take forever to get the letter via UPS. 33 of ___ on the UPS envelope. Then I actually put the deposit down, 4k on Lexus Visa and $1,000 cash. Pretty exciting, I've lost sleep over this deal.
Well, I am most likely going to sell mine to either break even or make a little cash. Then I go to Skip Barber and drive the IS F on a track, hopefully Laguna Seca. Check the classifieds in the next few days or so.

Am I the only one who thinks Neiman Marcus should have at least acknowledged that I put the $5k deposit down? Or Lexus should be sending me a test tube and the IS F Track Time game that I bought on ebay. Somebody should be making a big deal out of the fact that I am one of 50! I give them 5k and now I just wait.

BTW, the IS-F demo was given out as a free promo at SEMA this year. Sadly there were people at Sema taking stacks of the games so they could do what they just did, sel them on ebay.

Congrat's on your purchase there in Dallas. Neiman Marcus says they just advertise for Lexus along with other manufactures and won't even give you a Christmas catalog. I spent an additional $15.00 to get one. I threw away my UPS envelope, so I don't know if those numbers 33 of _ apply to where we are in line for our car. Last night I was on the I-15 here in Vegas and saw 2 Aston Martin Vantage's and 2 Bentley's all within a mile of each other. I think this IS-F will be different and that's one of my reason's for buying it. Keep us posted if you try to sell yours. Be curious to the responses.

hm...so the people getting the NM IS-F's will get the car around late march or early april?...isn't that the same time the regular IS-F's will be available to the public?...just wondering cuz I though the NM IS-F buyer would have the car first before the regular IS-F's came out...
