Default Finishes on the stock IS F wheels?

Will we have a choice of two different finishes on the stock IS F wheels? I am planning on getting the silver/black IS F, and I think I would like to get a light/silver wheel rather than a dark/charcoal wheel, but will we have a choice?

nope...the dark ones are for the US market (except the Neiman Marcus IS-F, which has the silver I think)...the silver ones are for other countries.

The US market gets the all graphite only version. The Neiman Marcus edition will be the only one for 2008 to have the 2 tone polished aluminum/graphite wheel.

Do you have pics comparing the two?

I have an email from the dealer saying the 68k$ NM edition is available, it also includes tickets to Skip Barber...

I still can't believe the regular is-f's get the brake dust looking wheels.

The only color that looks good w/ the dark wheels is the black is-f.

Maybe US buyers could order the polished wheels from over seas. Hopefully Lexus looks through this forum and see there is a demand for those wheels as well. Maybe in future years they will be become an option.

Yes I do:

Pics of the prototype IS-F from NAIAS 07 in Detroit last year and the others from the Lexus Press Event in Monterey back in October:

Here are some others of the graphite only wheel at Laguna Seca (same display they brought to SEMA) back in October.

I might get the dark wheels anyway, but it's disappointing that US buyers may be limited to just one choice.

It's not "might", it's the only choice we'll be getting for the IS-F for now.

I understand that, heck, I even said that. I meant that even with a choice, I might have gotten them anyway.
