My dad is buying one tomorrow I believe. There has been a black on black at a local dealer for about 4 days, and we've been on and off about buying it, and finally decided! Surprised it hasn't sold in that time frame.

Here's hoping Lexus puts a manual transmission option for IS-F or IS350 at some point
Once you drive the IS-F and experience the transmission in this car, you won't be wishing for ANY other transmission on the market. Trust me on this...

i drove manual for 8 years and loved it. You have to move on sometime, and I welcome these new transmissions. Especially after seeing in person how fast the IS-F tranny can shift. SMG sucks compared to DSGs and IS-F tranny, at least those dont break your neck when you shift

I was Gonna say...I personally think that the IS-F distinguishes the exterior from their regular 2IS BETTER than BMW and Mercedes and Audi. The front is quite different...the exhausts make the back look different, stand out more, and the sides are quite different too.

I think they did a fantastic job and congrats on the pick up. Now do a video drive by

I understand wanting to be different, but if you have an exterior interior that so departed from the "base" model that it's based on, then why even call it with the same name? If the IS-F were to be so departed in look, then why not just call it a SS-F or something. It's an IS-F because it's a rocket IS. The M3 to the casual driver is like an other 3 series.

Not to say the GS-R I have was so departed in handling, but I'm actually glad that it's not so different than other Integras of that generation or I'd be risking getting it stolen by the casual thief.

Possible or they could be an additional fleet of IS-F's shipped in from Japan. The ones in my sig were all preproduction units. Some did not have VIN#s or vin plates on the vehicles.

Ugh, the baby bull. Had one for a week and it didn't do it for me. Then again I had the Merc for a week and that was almost as bad as the Viper, ugh undrivable.
