Longo Lexus has red IS-F
i was there picking up my new is350 & the sales guy told me that there are trying to get rid of a red is-f sticker priced @ $61,000...just letting u guys know if interested..

Yep, just spoke with them and it's been there about a week. Red w/ black interior, ML sound and parking assist for just under $62k. Asked if they would deal with my local dealer and they declined. They're about 130 miles from me and I won't be able to get up there for another week or so. Funny thing is they have another 5 or so coming in that are all presold, but they're all silver or black.

Me too - I prefer it over blk or silver. My dealer has a smokey granite one coming in this week. Too bad he can't trade it to Longo for the red one. According to my salesman Longo doesn't play well with other dealers.

Well red (along with silver and gray) had the lowest votes in this poll of forum members' desired color choice - so I guess I wouldn't be surprised to see red, silver, or gray models sitting in lots. I think it's a great color, but I just wouldn't pick it before the ultrasonic or black.

Not to thread jack but I just wanted to mention that Bob Baker Lexus El Cajon in San Diego has a Matador Red/Black interior IS-F sitting in it's showroom as well. I brought my IS350 in today for the 30k maintenance (omg expensive!
) and decided wander around hoping they'd have one in stock. The moment I came within 10 feet of the thing a sales rep was asking if I was interested in trading in my car hah. I swear if I had the extra money right now I'd be driving it home tonight...
BUT, to anyone interested in the SD area they have one waiting for a loving owner!

I was alone and checked the car out completley from under the hood to the trunk...!!
Price tag / MSRP $61,465
(no add on's on this one)
This was my first time I got to actually see and touch one in person.
The Matador Red is nice, but I'll still take a Smoky Granite Mica over it...

It's also funny, that 2 sales reps mentioned to me that "this one hasn't sold yet"... "the rest are pre-sold"
Both of them said probably because its red....
I do have some opinions about the IS-F in general, which I will post soon...

Of course, you could just solve the whole cop problem by not driving excessively fast in traffic
. Or failing that, do what I do and constantly scan your mirrors and field of vision for cops. Worked wonders this morning when I was driving to work at 85mph and spotted the car about a 1/2 a mile in front of me.
