Default Question: Tint windows on Ultrasonic Blue IS-F?

I'm trying to decide..do you think I should tint the windows on my Ultrasonic Blue IS-F?

It has the High Contrast Alpine White/Black interior.

I'm trying to picture how it would look and I just can't decide if it would look better with tinted windows or without. The tint could block the unique interior from an exterior view, but the tint could also make the exterior look even better.

Any suggestions? What percetages??

Thanks in advance!

Here's a picture of my car so you can get a feel for it.

I was thinking of tinting my car, but I decided not to because I plan to track the car and want good visibility... Also, the black leather at night makes the car look like it's tinted!

P.S. You should get clear bra for you car tho, I did it on the same day I bought the car...

I'd just do a light tint... I'm too damn old to be getting tint tickets.
And I hate the dark rear window/light front window look...

Besides, the ladies need to be able to see me.

Great car, BTW. Perfect color combo!

Where is a good place to get the clear bra installed? What shops? I'm located in Torrance, CA.

How much would it be to get like half the hood and entire front bumper? Or what do you all recommend to get protected??

Thanks!

I say tint it! Don't forget, our summers here in SoCal can get quite hot, but those white seats will be much, much cooler than the black...

I'm waiting on a blue/black IS-F and once I have it, I do plan to tint the 5 windows (prob 5% or 10% rear windshield and then a bit lighter on the sides, and even lighter(35%) on the fronts). That's how I've tinted my last 2 IS's. lol I don't remember the actual percentages -- all I seem to remember is "limo", "dark", "medium", and "light".

I have a place on the Colorado River and without tint out there you're fried!

Any other reputable clear bra shops other than aerotect in SoCal? because their La Verne shop is almost two hours away from me haha

And I was reading a little about the F1 Pinnacle and Huper Optik, do they really make that much of a difference to justify the price? Thanks

i have huper optik, they block out a lot of heat. and yes, only get ceramic if you want to block out heat, dye films do nothing

and btw, from my experience, light or dark interior doesn't make any difference. they get just as hot in summer. my gs400 with tan wasn't any cooler than our recent cars

F1 Pinnacle is ceramic based instead of the usual metal based. Less chance of interference with the electronics (radio, GPS, etc.). Along with it's lifetime warranty on the tint itself, I also got a warranty on a window if it shatters with the tint on. Not sure if this was the shop I had it installed or on all FI pinnancle tint jobs.

I went to Aerotect in La Verne, for a full hood, full bumper, full fenders, trunk, side mirrors, fog lights, and navigation screen for $1,100. I would recommend doing the full hood because sometimes rock chips can hit higher than the half hood clear bra protection.

Oh ask for Francisco. I am going there tomorrow at 1030am to do some minor stuff.

Why do you want people scoping out your interior for? I tint all the time. It's just too cool and the IS-F is one cool car that needs tinting. I'd go with atleast 80%.
