Certified Sales Consultant? What is that, exactly? It sounds like a fancy way to say "Salesman." No offense if that's what it is, I just had never heard of that before.

diffuser helps get the air under the car quickly and smoothly. This causes a down force to generated. Diffusers are why you dont see huge wings on sports cars anymore

I've heard the same story about the rear exhaust, that Lexus tried a single tip exhaust in the wind tunnel and it produced up force on the rear of the car, which everyone knows this is a No No. They went to a dual tip for aero to produce downforce at high speeds.

Weird! When I looked at the IS-F on Saturday I looked at the exhaust for a good 5 minutes and I swore it was connected! Now that I see the pictures, I might have missed it. Man, I must suck

Default Yep

There are actually 7 built in diffusers underneath the IS-F. And yes, the quad stacked exhaust tips do prevent up forces at high speeds. Originally Lexus had 2 oval exhaust tips which caused tons of upforce. That's why they made the change. FYI

I think the only way for people to understand how this works, is to look at the wind tunnel test. I get it, but I'd still like to see it myself.

This is all marketing BS to cover up fake tips. Just b/c you decide to call them "diffusers", doesn't make them function as "diffusers". The underneath the car is all open on IS-F so that you CANNOT have smooth airflow. Not to mention the fake tips does not have enough surface to generate any downforce or prevent up force.

^^ Are you sure about that???

The last one I was under is pretty much covered up...
Except for the drive shaft and exhaust areas...
