Default IS-F Lease

So just got off the phone with the local dealer and here's my deal.

MSRP 61,565
Sale Price 61,565
Residual 56%
Money Factor .00295
4% VA tax
36 month lease 12/K
1200 down - 1146 a month

Is this pretty much the going rate? Seems a bit steep!

Residual looks right. I was able to find a money factor of .00145. Still didn't leave for a cheap lease rate even with MSD. Ended up buying.

using MSD and you can reduce the MF by quite a bit already

but 0.00145, that's very low rate. where did you get that, mr johnson?

I don't recall the specifics but I think it was a 9 MSD through LFS with 10K/yr miles.

Holly Cow!!! .00295 no way would I ever pay that kind of lease rate. The highest i have ever paid is .00215 and thats on my 335 right now, and even that I talked the dealer down from .00245.

0.00145? That would be an extremely low rate, especially for a new vehicle like the IS-F.

umm, if original money factor is 0.00295, and each MSD reduce MF by 0.00008, so that's 0.00072 max, thus bringing it down to 0.00223. that's a more reasonable number

0.00145 is extremely low for a car like is-f (so hot right now)

Is it even that hot of a car? I just started looking at them instead of the M3 and I can have one by mid march where as the M3 I'm stuck with nothing until June. If it was so hot wouldn't they all be sold already?? Kind of makes me wonder!

*shrug* I dunno, it was part of the discussions we had prior to buying and I didn't ultimately choose that route so I can't verify it. As always YMMV.
