Just traded in my 07 GS for my IS F, just wondering if anyones has tried to take apart or replaced the fog lights? I bought a set of HID for it and want to replace it. But wasn't sure about taking it apart just yet. Anyone out there that tried?

I don't think one person has opened them yet...
The easy way to see what you have is to open the small access door on the drivers side.. (if its there)
Its on the plastic under panel underneath the fog housing on the IS350.
From there the fog housing should be accessible..

I don't know if you noticed that the IS F front bumper and foglight housing is different than the IS series....I'm not sure what you are talking about but i'll take a look for the small access door....any way you can show me a pic of it?
This is my first IS model...always had a GS until now...

Yes.. I am very aware that you have an IS-F and it is different than the 2IS..
I haven't gotten a chance to see underneath an IS-F yet...
But, below is some quick info to access the fog light bulb on the drivers side of the 2IS..
If there is no door, you will have to carefully pry open the fender liners..
Here is a link to the process on the 2IS..

Let us know what you find on both sides.. and what kind of bulb its running..

The left side is the easiest.(Drivers side) There is an access cover. Just remove the two black plastic clips by prying out the center. Remove the cover. Reach up and unplug the bulb by pinching the connector and pulling it down. Then remove the bulb by turning it counter clockwise. Installation is self explanitory from there.

according to the manual it takes the H11 type....is that similar to the IS models? I could feel the accessory door but not sure if it is the same one or not because it was dark when I checked. maybe this weekend I try and take it apart.
