I was washing my car by hand this afternoon and noticed on the passenger side front rim that there was rust on the rim. I took it by the dealer and showed the service tech. He called the parts manager to come over and take a look. He looked at the rim and then rubbed it over where the rust spots were. He said the finish feels different. I was told that when they clear coated the rim some spots were missed. So they are ordering me a new rim. I just wanted to put this out to because it was hardly noticeable.
I didnt see it until I was drying the rims off. I only have 240 miles on my F so for all you fellow F owners take a close look at your rims and give some feedback about this.
