IS-F Aluminized composite trim discussion..
How many of the new IS-F owners like or dis-like the Aluminized Composite Interior Trim found in your IS-F.. ??
We also call it the Silver Carbon Fiber interior pieces but for the record thats what Lexus calls it above..
I know most of the younger crowd loves it, but I am also looking for some feedback from our older members too...
If you had a choice, would you like to see it in a Black Carbon Fiber finish or the Auburn bird's-eye maple wood interior trim, found in the Lexus line up....
The pieces in question are the 4 door switch plates and the entire top side of the center console.
Poll created with a few options..
Vote away...
Thanks
Joe Z

I didn't like the aluminum finish in the sport model and bought the lux package to get the trim I wanted. I would have preferred the sport suspension, but realized it would be far easier to modify the suspension to my desires with aftermarket, and much harder to live with the aluminum finish I didn't like in the interior.
The carbon fibre pieces do nothing for me. If I bought a Koenigsegg, I'd be OK with CF, but seeing it on a car that already weighs 3800 lbs just seems like a race inspired cosmetic enhancement (r.i.c.e.).

ive been thinking about this subject for months, since i ordered my blk/blk isf. i dislike those interior pieces very much. im planning to buy the is350s dark wood and installing it .
would it fit? should be the same right?
or if something else is going to be available, it would be great !!

Since i got my IS-F i really havent had a chance to stare at the interior pieces(to busy staring at the road) but if I had my choice I would want some wood of some kind in there.
Some guys in the MB world opted to change to carbon fiber in the E55s but it looked sharp. I just prefer wood.
I am sure someone will make a kit for it soon.
