But I have to sell my pristine 99 3000GT SL(which I have for sale now)(http://www.3si.org/forum/showthread.php?t=400079) and trade her 2008 Lexus IS250. That will leave her with my Jeep SRT8 clone. I have contacted a local Nissan dealer and they have an alottment of 2 GT-R's(they hope) But they want 10K over sticker. I am very excited to say the least!!! Going Monday to talk to the GM and look at some brochures they have!!! But what about the IS-F? The Lexus dealer in lexington has one....but it is already sold. Whats the best deal I can get an IS_F this summer? $60K versus $80K....thats a big difference. What would you IS-F owners do?

The Nissan is not a car to ever have to pay a premium over the MSRP...
Paying over MSRP is like just like stealing your money... sorry but its true..
IS-F would be my choice.. I need 4 doors..

like i mentioned elsewhere.. the gt-r is the best 2-door japanese sports car money can buy (until the lf-a comes out) while the is-f is the best 4-door japanese sports sedan (until the gs-f or infiniti r38 sedan comes out?). on top of getting the is-f for $20k less than the gt-r, another reason i'd pick the is-f over the gt-r is for the semi-practicality you can get out of the lexus. i could not imagine someone driving a gt-r as a commute vehicle 5 days a week.. that would be harsh. if you go gt-r, don't forget to buy a nitrogen tank for your garage in case the tire pressure on the nissan gets low. either way they both pimp!!

C'mon man. It shouldn't even be a question. I bleed Lexus blood but you've got to go GT-R on this one. That is the baddest production car made. The only car that is really faster and handles better is the Porsche GT-2 (at $194,000). Its a no-brainer.

If you shop around, you can get some deals that is close to MSRP. I ordered mine pretty close to MSRP but not too close since the dealer is about 3000 miles away from me and they are saying that regular carrier won't fit the GTR.
With that said, I'd say, go with IS-F if you want to drive it everyday. I just checked the parts priced on GTR and there's no way I will be able to afford to drive it everyday. 900$ per break pad!!!
