This may have been done... IS-FR, looks good.
I bought the latest mag the other day and it looks like it is scheduled for release in 2009. I am thinking of canceling my order and placing it for this( Mine wont be here until next year anyway). As it will be about 180lbs lighter due to a nice carbon fibre roof and it has a few other features that are not on the normal F. What have you guys heard about this outside of Japan?

Well, I read that thread and it was a rumor back then. But, it pretty much on the cards at this point, and release will be in 2009. The weight reduction comes from the carbon fibre roof and a few other parts (the roof being the main one). Oh , and I can read Japanese.
