Are the IS-F tires filled with Nitrogen?
Quick question, I noticed on my IS-F valve stems that the cap actually says Nitro on it. Does this means they are filled with Nitrogen from the factory? Thanks.

Nitrogen is popular in industries (car racing, commerical airlines, etc.) where you want to eliminate or minimize the explosive properties of oxygen or just eliminating the water vapors from freezing at high altitudes in addition to fuel efficiency, longer tire life, etc.

When I started up this morning my tire pressure light came on. I wish Lexus would tell you which tire was reading low. My 350Z was able to tell me which tire had an issue. With the IS-F, I have to figure out which tire as well as how much pressure is lost. Oh well.

ngl1145,
we have nitrogen here at L.O.N., besides less temp. related fluctuation, the compression ratio is different. (stiffer) I like the ride difference in my 250 woosmobile
