Good afternoon all,
I've been browsing through this forum for about 5 years since I've always had an interest for the IS-F even since it came out in 2008. In 2010 I actually wanted to own one since after the suspension upgrade it seemed like the perfect all-round car. Perfect for a family which I might have in the future and a great driver's car. I purchased a 2011 one 3 months ago and I've been loving it since. I named her Lexi (yes I'm so original!). But I must confess that I know very little when it comes to cars. They've always been a secondary passion for mine as my profession is computer engineering. I understand cars but I do not know how to work on them myself to install any parts of whatever.
The current mods I have are:
Joe Z intake pipe
Spare Tire removal
5 pound IS-F manual and accessories removed
plastic cup holder in center console removed
Trunk Tool kit removed
As you can see I am trying to make some weigh savings, I've always been obsessed with saving weight as I was with my previous Toyota Corolla. With the Corolla, I removed the sun visors, entire glove box, center console, back seats, floor mats & carpet, spare tire & tools, door interior, hubcaps, and all papers besides the usual registration and insurance. And boy that made a huge difference! It made the Corolla extremely nimble from the 200-300 pound difference. I would do the same with the IS-F but the interior is so nice that it would be really sinful to rip out the nice leather interior.
Here are two pictures of it.
So I have a question for some of the more experienced members here. I am looking into new wheels.
http://www.evasivemotorsports.com/mm...ode=WEDS-SA15R
for the front wheels and
http://www.evasivemotorsports.com/mm...ode=WEDS-SA15R
for the rear wheels.
The question I have is that will they fit? I noticed the offset is different from the stock wheels and do not know if they will not fit with the brakes or anything. I literally have no idea.
This forum here definitely appears more than just a forum, it's more of a community as enthusiasts interact with the vendors directly! It is definitely something I am looking to be apart of.

Greetings from New Zealand (the other side of the world)
The wealth of knowledge on this forum is awesome
Have been a long time reader, and am now a first time Lexus owner, after many years owning Toyotas
I sold my heavily modded 1996 JDM spec RZ Turbo Supra and imported a 2008 ISF from Japan around 7 months ago, and am loving it.
The F doesn't have as much power as the Supra did (which had 670hp) but is definitely a quicker car off the line and has more usable power, also that transmission in sport/manual mode is epic.
I also currently own a 1998 JDM spec Toyota Aristo "Vertex Edition" (Lexus GS300)
Details on my F.....
Ultrasonic Blue
Alpine and Black interior
Nav maps, HDD and hands free phone functions are in Japanese, however I purchased an owners manual out of the USA so can use everything
No pre crash/radar system
No sunroof
Dynoed at 360hp at the wheels, stock, on 98 RON octane fuel
Have since added the following mods, and yet to Dyno again
Borla exhaust system
HPS silicone intake tube
Blitz air filter
BC Gold coilvers
Also have a set of Work wheels on their way from Japan

Greetings... No IS-F yet but I'm patiently in the hunt for the last few months. It has been my dream car since they came out. Located in the DFW area and patiently waiting for the perfect one to pop up so I can pull the trigger. Guess I have to make 30 posts before I can even post a "Want to Buy" thread in the classifieds .
