Shoot I still need to try and find a stock intake thats not crazy expensive. I think I will actually end up going with the HPS intake tube from figs.

Hi Guys,

i'm a new member to the ISF Family from the frozen north in cold Calgary Alberta., I've recently bought a 2008 Smoky Granite Beauty and will be seeking some mods advice etc in the near future.

^^^^Welcome to the forum. There are many threads on this site about modifications and the proper ones to use and many DIYs. Lots of GREAT information here Use the Search function and you'll learn lots of stuff

Lol you are lucky, i took two days off from work and to go purchase the car, my wife and i drove from Calgary, to Hinton, to purchase a set of 18"rims with winter tires for the car, that took 5.5 hours, we then drove to Ft. McMurray, another 5.5 hours apprx, we then had to wait for the car to be prepared, the dealer messed up a bit with the electronics in the car.

Left Ft. McMurray and drove to Gibbons, stopped to fill up the car and the car refused to start, had to leave it there for the dealer to come tow, the took it to a dealership in Wetaskiwin for a few days and then we had to drive there to pick it up when it was finished.

It was pretty crazy, but i really do like the car.
