I've read about 12.7 times before. Hopefully just a break in thing, but great time regardless.

I think 12.6s are going to be had with a better 60ft. I wonder if 18in Drag radials will fit over the brakes

I have a lot of trouble believing any 350 can get near the 12s unless it was totally gutted, had drag radials, and every mod possible for performance including forged 17 inch wheels.

Great time! I think the IS-F has a lot of potential. It should be able to do low 12s and maybe even high 11s with some light modding.

Since the TX2K8 Supra Nationals were in town, I headed over to Lonestar Motorsports Park on Saturday. My goal was to atleast obtain the fastest magazine 1/4 mi timeslip so far and the mission was accomplished. After a few passes by me, I handed the ride over to my tuner 'SRT Mo' who was able to knock out three consecutive 111 mph runs.. the fastest one being a 12.89 pass.

Here's the breakdown:

Reaction - 1.49
60 FT - 2.04
1000 ET - 10.85
1/4 ET - 12.89
1/4 MPH - 111.66

With these preliminary results, it's almost certain that someone will soon knock out a 12.6-12.7 timeslip w/ proper launch and optimal conditions. As for the video, don't worry it'll be posted soon.
Your Density Altitude on 3/22 was about 1200ft. The best IS350's can run in the 1/4 at this DA is about 13.4@103mph. I ran a 12.84 but the DA was -1800ft.

Basically go on a nice cool day with high pressure and you'll easily knock out a low 12 second run with a good 60'. You'll also gain at least 5 more mph in the 1/4. Oh and get some more mileage on that engine too for even quicker times.

Nice job!

PS.. and no my car is NOT gutted out for the track and I'm running the stock 18's with R compounds.

My IS350 did 13.22 with NO mods and no weight reduction. I'm thinking just drags radials and losing the spare and jack could get me down to 13.0 or 13.1 on a nice day. AND, I'm almost 200 pounds too.

I'm guessing the IS-F will start to run faster and faster as the engine is more and more broken in. I also am thinking it'll probably lose a 1/10 or 2 as the tires wear thinner and thinner. BTW, what were the mods to the 335i?

Peter's 335i has the upgraded SSTT chip which picks up 49.6 rwhp and 52.1 rwtq over stock. His best run that day was a 12.84 pass.
