the marklev/nav is one of those must have options for any new 2008 lexus. if you don't get it.. i can guarantee you will regret it. (but then if you are gutting the car then by all means get the base model.)

Thats exactly what I am looking for. I know you can order them and they take 3-4 months to get. I was just hoping that there might be one sitting around somewhere.....

Get what you want but you are going to take a hit on resale if you get one equipped that way. Only way I guess I would get one like that is to tun it into a race car. But if you were I guess you could buy it from TRD

Lexus Japan has already started allocating and/or building IS-F's with NO NAV and NO Sunroof for the US market.
They should be hitting dealers soon... Especially in areas NOT in So Cal.. (where 99% of them will be fully loaded)
We have a member on my.IS that has already found a Base Model IS-F, enroute from Japan to USA (Virginia)..
His dealership had to "dealer trade" or swap the allocation so that he can have this specific car.
Start calling your local dealership Sales Managers to see if they can track down a Base Model IS-F "In Transit" for you.
