Default i need your opinions. IS350 or ISF?

i work in a very stressful environment. everyday after work i like to sit in a car that can help me relax. therefore i never have a second thought when it comes to buying lexus

but i also like to have a bit of fun. BUT not too much fun or thrills like the m3's or amg's...not to mention quality wise, they dont' even pass my standard.

so, please help me out here. 70% of me like the relaxation lexus can provide me. 30% like to have some fun.....

should i go with a regular IS350 or IS F?

any input will be greately appreciated. currently, i own a 06 RX400H

If you can afford it then get the IS F. If you just want to putt around you can just keep it in auto mode and it's just like any other IS. But when you want to have fun you can put it in sport and manual mode and it not like any other IS.

Relax in car? Sounds like you're more of LS460 than IS.

I have both...my wife has a new IS350 and I have a Neiman Marcus IS-F. Prior to my car, I'd tried to sneak out her's, cause of the fun ride. Now, I hate to admit it, but I don't care if I ever drive her's again. I also have a new RX350 that just sit's waiting for someone to drive it. The point I'm trying to make is, to me the IS-F is awesome and if your looking to enjoy your daily ride, then that should be the car for you. Again, that's my opinion. Good luck.

Considering the IS-F is designed to compete with the M3 and C63, maybe the IS350 would be a better choice for you.

The ISF is a very versatile car. You can relax and drive it like a Lexus one minute, and drive it like an all out sports car the next. There are more than enough entities and luxurious interior features in this car to help you relax when needed. At the end of the day it's the best of both worlds. Good luck on your decision.

the is-f is louder and stiffer. if that's what you want, and you can afford it, get the is-f

otherwise, the is350 is a better choice

I test drove the two back to back the other day. If the price wasnt an issue, I would get the IS-F, but keep in mind as rominl says, its stiffer and louder.

I personally would be very content in a IS350, and Im a "faster is better" type of guy. I used to autox, I do motorcycle track days, racing go-karts, ect, and the IS350 is still enough for me. Sure, the IS-F is a better choice, but if relaxing and having fun 'some of the time' is your thing, go the the 350.

Just my opinion, I dont think youll regret it either way.

from my personal experience, you would want an IS350. The ride is smoother. IS-F has a loud low droning noise when cruising on the high way, better gas mileage, quick and nimble, cheaper, 5 seats vs 4.

but then again the IS-F has an atomic bomb under its hood.

I daily drove an is350 for just over 2 yrs. It was great.. but I'm 100% satisfied with trading it up for the is-f. If you have no issue on getting one, you should save yourself the time and hassle and go for it. The is-f will be lingering in the back of your mind if you get the is350.

I'll agree w/ the above quote. The 350 was a great car, but the ISF is better in every way (except for the nav) than the 350.

IS-F gets me a LOT more attention than the IS350 ever did. The other day, a Corvette was at a redlight and wanted to race. I just waved at him.

The F would satisfy your reviness needs i'm sure. Get the right color and you should be happy. The M3 would be the only other choice.
