Default My suggestions to Lexus for the IS-F

Just a few changes i personally would make to the IS-F to make it fit me better and become a little more competitive in its class.

Exterior Changes

1.Spolier deletion option
2.New color Black Opal
3.NM edition wheels standard

Interior Changes

1. Wood trim from regular IS as an option
2.Illuminated scuff plates from the Lux package IS an option
3.Aluminum Trim from reg IS standard
4.A luxury package or interior upgrade package as an option that includes wood trim and lighted scuff plates with black stiching on the seats and steering wheel and non perforated leather trim.

I actually miss the ventilated seats also. I don't care if they weighed a couple of more pounds.

Also...
Make real functioning fender vent.

I guess someone will mod this soon.. for better cooling brake, efficient aerodynamic, and I-mod-it purpose!

Lessen the car's weight with CF fillings, bonnet etc. A sports car need not be luxurious. Introudce more aggressive byodykit. Introduce manual tranny. Have a coupe version.

For a limited version (equivalent to CSL in BMW), CF where possible and gut it, roll rage, recaros, coupe only and 2 seater

Sometime before the end of the F cars, introduce twin turbo with 4wd.

hehe Joseph...the fender vents are functional...they take the warm air in the engine area out of the car through the vents....haha

It's the IS-'F'unctional. 100%

Only thing I could hope for Lexus to add on future performance V8s.. is a cylinder shutoff feature so we can get some better mileage! But everything else so far is just gravy.

I wish they would get rid of the weird exhaust tips. Other than that, I like the car.

I wish they'd put in the programming of the old NAV system. I don't like the new one (I miss the easter eggs) and I really don't like the new system where it just sits there when you turn it on. I MUCH preferred hitting the ok button. I guess our complaints took care of that.

The thing I liked about the OK button was that you hit and you were done. Now you have to wait before you can start inputting an address..

I would say raise the rev limiter, probably 7,500 rpm at least.

Seems like one of the largest oversights with the car.

Slightly wider tires would also be nice but with the Lexus way of thinking that may bring down the MPG?!?

YEAH WTF is up with that...its on my 350 ...sheesh for 60K it should be cooling my butt off in the hot summer when I first get in...

It would be different if non of the other IS's came with it...but come on its aleady on the damn 350 so just leave it in...

I mean dont get me wrong ---LOL...I'm still gonna get on in a couple years but ...I'll still moan about it then....while I drive it...LOL

and the limited slip they will probably toss in later to make people want that or trade in ---there's always a scam...lol

Like when I got my 2003 G35 coupe with 280HP on it ...then 2 years later people were tradin in the 03's + 04's just to get an extra 18HP in the 2005+ 2006's....silly but it works
