Default IS-F vs. M3

If anyone with an IS-F in Vegas is up to it I will do some 1/4 mile runs or something with my M3 when it gets here. I just put a deposit on one. It should be here at the end of April I was told. I am most definitely taking this car to the track once a month.

How much did the M3 end up costing vs. IS F if you don't mind disclosing? We'll be interested to hear your review after you get the car.

Sorry for the posts but you didn't have to read them either. If you knew it was me you could always go over that thread. I just posted here and car chat so I could get the best advice on the cars. The people on this board in particular seem to be the most unbiased and intelligent buyers. They will be straight shooters on Pros and Cons of the car. That is why I threw so many scenarios out there before with people.

Congratulations on the M3. Both cars are great and sometimes it really comes to the driver when getting performance numbers on a track. If I were in Vegas I'd be up for it but I'm on the other side of the country heheh. When you get it post pics I'd love to see it.

No really silverbull I am glad you made a decision on a car. I am not biased on either IS-F or M3. Both are great cars. Please provide pics of the M3

And you are right this forum is more level headed than the BMW forum

I got the Interlagos Blue Metallic. It is similar to a superman blue I guess. I got black leather inside the car. I will post some pics when I pick her up. The BMW boards are a little cocky and rediculous. They help keep the stereotype up of trust fund kids getting these cars for their 18th birthday kind of thing.

Spoke to the dealer - he told me for $150k for the LF-A and probably upwards of $75k for the GS-F
GS350: 50k+ GS460: 60k+ GS-F:78k+
IS350: 44k? IS-F:62K

Now remember this is the same dealership that told me it was in excess of 250k... what a bunch of BS....

We'll have to get a lot closer to release to get any real pricing indication on the LF-A or GS-F. Remember that even my contact at TMS wouldn't pass an estimate down the line until nearly just 3 months before IS-F scheduled release (although he was pretty much spot-on with it).

That LF-A (without convertible) looks so mean. The convertible model reminds me of a Ferrari F430 spyder. But regardless, a smokin hot car. Lexus has officially brought sexy back.

I'll be here all night
