Two different events. Taste of Lexus = Lexus owned cars, the Joliet event is being put up by Lexus, but not as part of Taste of Lexus.. That one = our cars.

Sounds like this event in Joliet is being put up by a local Lexus dealer, not to be confused with an official Lexus corporate event.

No, I don't think so. I got a call from the zone office making sure I was registered. It could be a zone thing but it is not just a dealer thing.

I wonder why they're on the same day and the same time??? I think the "local" one is free of charge - at least, there was no mention of any charges. However, the wear and tear on the tires will probably be greater than the cost of the Lexus sponsored event. I wonder how much track time we'll actually be allowed? I hope we can run until we run out of gas or tread. At least that's what I'm hoping for.

Now it looks like they changed the Taste of Lexus from April 24-25 to May 9-11. SOOOO, they're on different days. The local one is free while the TOL one is charged.

I think so...I registed my GF as a guest...you have to print out a sheet for the guest too...use your log in ID to register guests...up to 3 I believe....
