Any other considerations? (Trade, etc). That would seem like a pretty good deal

Sounds about right, seems like most people here are getting the IS-F for $60-61K OTD.

I'm always confused by OTD. To me, OTD is vehicle + tax + title/registration/etc. So, 60, 61K OTD is unheard of (IMO). I paid full everything - like 61,900 (wheel insurance, headlamp washers) PLUS the tax and all that stuff. Oh well... gotta have it! According to my dealer, I was the first IS-F in his dealership (Arlington Lexus in Palatine).

"most" people here? you sure? from what i have read, most people here paid msrp for the car, which is 61k BEFORE anything

in my case, allow me to clarify, is 61900 - $3500 = 58400 PLUS TAX and other fees.

so, is this a good deal?

That's what I read people posting. I understand "OTD" as plus license, fees, registration, taxes. So I wouldn't know if people are perceiving "OTD" differently. But as you know in Cali, I don't think it's inconceivable to negotiate a deal of several thousand off MSRP, like $3500-$4k off or even more, so that it would ultimately be around $61k OTD including taxes, fees, etc. Of course, there are other factors like the tax rate in your state.

Lightbulb

Again 99.9% or "most" of the intitial IS-F's sold here in the USA typically had an MSRP sticker of $61,465 or $61,565 with headlamp washers.

There were sold for MSRP Sticker Price, PLUS TTL Fees (Tax, Title & Lic Fees)

Which in other words EQUALS approx $67,000 OTD (Out The Door)

"Most" people understand the term OTD as the final price of the car including everything...

To the OP:

$58,400 PLUS TAX , Title & Lic Fees is an EXCELLENT DEAL!!

What other extra things those your possible IS-F have that brings the MSRP to $61,900 ?? and what dealer if you don't mind us asking??

I think that if you hold out for a few more months you will be able to get a better deal than what they are currently offering you. The economy is looking like we are headed into recession and with the FED continuing to cut rates and weaken the dollar will help your bargining power. Since there will be fewer buyers and the supply increase. Simply stated as demand decreases and supply increase the price will have to adjust downward. Supply and Demand ......Got to love economics!!
