Spotted Today (3/9/20) Black ISF with CF oem spoiler, Toms CF rear diffuser, lowered with some aftermarket wheels and front plate mounted to the driver side front of the bumper. Saw you (assuming you're on here) driving on the SF Bay Bridge then getting onto 880 South and I think you exited at Marina Blvd.
I didn't shoot this video, but was glad to see an IS F at a supercar show. The guy shooting the video misidentifies the IS F as a RC F. Is Savag3 on this forum? Skip to 19:00 minutes for the IS F.
It was very dark, but I saw what I believe was a 2011+ Grey ISF on the Garden State Parkway Northbound Express lanes around mile marker 122. This was around 12:20 AM 9/6. You had a passenger in the car. I was driving a blue Tesla Model 3, I came up from behind you, checked you out, and passed you on the right
Damn all the NY shots are making me nostalgic...
Born and raised out on the island, lived in queens and worked in the city for years. I don't miss the potholes or catching the LIRR and running to the subway everyday .
(Had a manual 2008 IS250 back then and remember shoveling myself out after the plows would go through and then pretty much the entire street down to Queens Blvd if I had to drive anywhere. (lowered slightly with the oem fsport lip). Fast forward 10 years and 4 cars (including an IS350 at one point) and I'm still using the same username, still visiting this site daily, referencing it while under my car with a wrench in my hand and now out here in CA)
Recently tried to explain to a CA native (non-car person) that from a New Yorker's perspective a "bumpy" road does not = potholes. Full transparency, I might've been a bit defensive because the conversation started because of the noticeable difference in ride after a suspension overhaul. They said it felt and sounded worse then before and they were scared something was going to break going over cracks in the roads or pot holes (gaps in the pavement). After the whole "thats the idea" conversation I continued to describe whats its like to drive on 278 during rush hour or the Cross Island around the holidays with leftover slush on the ground. That I haven't seen a REAL pothole in the South Bay since moving here. And though I've seen overturned cars and Tesla's burning there hasn't been any rubbernecking the unfortunate corolla-rollin-on-15s who hits a real pothole and is now blocking 2 lanes on the Grand Central or Southern State after the thaw in March.
Eventually other comparisons came out which concluded with driving in and around SFO is simple and straightforward compared to JFK or La Guardia, that I don't understand why folks don't use their horn here in the Bay Area more often or at all and I don't think that any of the highways on the peninsula are "narrow". Additionally, even when getting a speeding ticket (when I wasn't even driving in excess of the posted limit and/or at a reasonable speed considering things such as visibility, time of day, lighting, flow of traffic and other factors that may inhibit a drivers ability to perceive impending danger) the police here are actually nice compared to 'State Troopers'.

@212IS250
Funny I grew up on S.I. and exactly what your talking about on the roads.. LoL
I don't miss the NY or NJ State Troopers.. Back in 99' my white mustang 5.0 was a magnet for the troopers..
Spotted this white ISF in the parking lot of Lowes of Farmingdale (Long Island, NY) on Friday evening. I was driving the white 3IS and parked 2 spots away.
White ISF spotted in Brooklyn just a few minutes ago. You were driving northbound on Coney Island Avenue heading towards Foster Ave. I was driving next to you and tried to get your attention... was driving a Black Jeep Grand Cherokee... don’t think you noticed me
I spotted a silver ISF today around 6pm. I was entering the parking lot of Costco in Elk Grove CA. I think you flashed your headlights at me. Hit me up if you’re in the area.
Spotted a black Lexus ISF around 5pm today as I was leaving work in Longwood, FL. I flashed you a few times and I heard you honk your horn at me. I was in my black Lexus ISF with the Toms carbon kit, Seibon carbon hood, and lowered on black Vossen wheels.
Lucky for me I spot 4 or 5 of them every day including my own. I work with 3 other people that have them. Mine is an obsidian 2012, another is a silver 2008, another is a obsidian 2008, another is a white 2008. My wife rocks a GSF.
