So I go to a Lexus dealer with Koz.... (to test drive an IS-F)

I agree with the Edmunds review
What Edmunds.com says
With beastly performance and a ride to match, the 2008 Lexus IS-F is a shot of pure adrenaline from a company typically associated with uninspiring driving dynamics. It may even prove too hard-edged for some -- something we never thought we'd find ourselves saying about a Lexus.
Pros
Tire-melting thrust, track-ready handling, subdued interior noise levels for this segment.
Cons
Exterior by J.C. Whitney, rock-hard suspension, no manual option.

I actually almost did at the track the other night. The AWD Murcielago couldn't hook up any tires with all that power. I would've beat him by 2 seconds. Wouldn't have been too legit, but it's funny you bring that up.

I understand that. I didn't buy the car just for the performance numbers as you probably already know. Sure do love driving it though. I can honestly say it is the most fun I have ever had in a car. Lets leave it at that.

As a very satisfied IS350 owner, I couldn't wait for this car to come out. I went to my dealer and intended to trade in my car for their ISF. After driving it, I have to say it just does not feel like it is $15k - 20k better than my car. If I didn't care about money then I would say what the heck and get it anyway for thw WOW factor but being reasonable and not infinitely wealthy, I have to say I'll stick with my 350

Well.. if you guys are complaining about exhausts not making noise.. I am in the process of buying E-Cutouts from DMH Performance... They open the Exhausts before reaching the muffler, which makes the car 2x or 3x louder.. not to mention a tad more engine power... but its going to sound nuts... they run 360 for a duel exhaust, and prob another 200 for installation... and whats nice, is you can open and close them with a switch of a button

I've actually heard of exhaust cutouts causing a car to lose performance, torque mostly because of a back pressure loss or something. Not a gearhead myself so please disregard this if it is not true. Just letting you know what I have heard.
