Finally somebody listened to me and installed some spacers. Makes the car look a lot meaner.
Before I decided on size of the spacers, I actually measured it, from the fender to the tires and 20mm was the closest I could get, without the tires sticking out. and 20mm was the closest....I tried the 15mm on before the 20mm, and the tires were still behind the fender.

stock wheels as in the ones that come with the car from the factory.

i thought spacers were used if the rims didnt fit the big brakes.

whats ur purpose for the spacers?

just wondering...because i dont have much experience with spacers.

enlighten me.

Spacers can be used for a few different reasons. One is for looks; it pushes the wheels further out which increases track and (some) think it looks better. Its safe and a proven method of widening your stance for more stability. They can (and may need to be) used to increase clearance from the brake calipers with aftermarket wheels and/or if the brakes have been upgraded with a "big brake kit" or the like.

I would do a 265/35/19 instead of doing 255/40/19, You are probably going to have to go with a 15mm spacer though if you increase the tire size. Unless Lexus got their head out of their keister in desiging the inner fenders on the ISF because on the regular IS there is no room in there.

Why you didn't use the spacers with his own bolts? Less work and vibration problems.

i heard you'll have to cut/shave off part of the original studs....didn't want to do that.
