my friend likes the car...he has a BMW 335i with V2 procede chip...loves the sound and the power behind it. Basically I think all the cars like IS-F, C63, M3, and RS4 are basically the same...and it is up to the person's preference to choose which one he/she likes....

i totally agree with you. coming from two generations of M3's, (i was a die-hard m owner) i finally came to the conclusion that "that is it, i am not getting another M3; becuz quality, relaibility, value...etc, lexus F is just covering all spectrum"

but sadly, many my fellow bmw friends still sneer at my choice as if it's a lower species. they still think we own expensive rip-off toyo cars

I know a couple guys that work at the local BMW dealership (sales) and when I told them I bought an ISF they complimented me on how nice they thought the car is (smooth, exhaust note etc etc). If I see an '08 M3 on the road I definitely flash a thumbs up - They are all nice cars! That is why people are forking out 60k - 70k!
It is just kind of a waste of time to persistently fling insults at drivers of rival brands and I choose not to participate unless it is a compliment/thumbs up.

I'm neutral as well, Its a personal decsion whether Lexus, BMW, Audi, MB. I went to my local BMW dealer and checked the M3 coupe and sedan in person for the first time. I personally like the sedan it looks nicer and both are very similar to the standard 3 serise with the exception of the exterior M class changes. The salesman i was speaking too like my ISF IMO it's looks more agressive/sportier. My 2 cents worth.

I think everybody's right on target. All cars are neck and neck performance wise. It just comes down to which one you like to look at and drive every day. My friend has an M3 coupe and we cruise together all the time. I'd say there are things both of us like and dislike about each other's cars. But in the grand scheme of things, that doesn't keep us from denying that both cars are unbelievably fun to drive. Any car in this group is pretty much a sure thing IMO.

i have people pull up to me all the time... the best one was when i was driving on i-87, and i see in my rear view an m3 flying up behind me. so im thinking, oh geez this guy is gonna want to race or something..so i moved over 1 lane to get out of his way because i wasnt in the mood. instead he pulls up next to me, rolled down his window, pointed at my car, and gave me a big thumbs up and a smile. i thought that was pretty cool i've had infiniti guys pull up to me, mercedes guys approach me, and a whole bunch of other people. they all seem to love the car. the only car people that i notice cant give props are subaru guys lol

I've had M3 guys compliment my car. They know great cars and can appreciate the same.
