i removed the resonator
It sounds ok. little louder but needs to be louder.. for those going to the luau you can hear it. it has the same tone just 20 percent louder but needs a axle back

yes sunday i will have them film it. Catback is a long time from now.. tired of waiting.. and there will be no real power gains if you see the stock exhaust at the midpipe is 3.5 in and primaries are 2.5 with no real restrictions.

i also started out with first removing the resonator.. i dont even think it reached 20 % louder. anything above 2500 rpm is still silent, till the 2nd intake opens up. i removed both 2ndary cats this afternoon.. and now i think its about 20 % louder. it is a lot more "rumbly." in sport mode w/ paddle shift, it backfires upon deceleration (increase in backpressure). i like it, vid's soon to be posted. if i can find someone to host them.
i dont think there was a flange after the 2ndary cats.. when i first removed the resonator, the only flange i saw was at the end right after the resonator (axle back). so if an aftermarket exhaust is made.. it would only be axle back, correct? unless you wanted to weld them to the cats or even before those. it doesn't seem like much power can be made through an exhaust anyway, the stock piping looks like 2.5 true dual to a 3inch out to the factory mufflers. considering these factory mufflers are being too restrictive.. it seems those are the only parts of the exhaust to change to make power.
any opinions?

Funny thing is, from behind, if you had absolutely no pipes connected anywhere, the tips are still attached to the bumper, and no cop would ever suspect anything. Someone needs to try this NOW!!!
