Default Should I trade my IS350 for an ISf?

can somebody please post the reasons why I should or shouldn't, and how limited is this car in the U.S. market? ( "Production Numbers" ), I will like to get the ISf as a collectable (" this car will be siting in my garage most of the time")... I will hate to go with Nissan and the GT-R, my local dealer wants $20k over the MSP...NO WAY!!!.

I drove the IS350 a while back and I thought it was a piece of crap

I still do, but at least the 5 liter makes things bearable

2500 being made this year - total. Who knows how many next year. I highly doubt this will become a car that is sought after by collectors. If you are thinking of buying it for that reason you will be making a mistake. Buy the car to drive the crap out of it. No other reason makes sense.

Yeah I don't see the point of buying any car so it can sit in your garage, whether it's an ISF or not. This is a drivers car, not an antique. It makes me smile every time I drive it. I don't think I would put it in the same league as GTR. That thing is purely a racecar. Good luck with your decision.

GTR is hardly a real race car. A real race car isn't something you would want to drive on the street or even legally be able to.

http://video.aol.com/video-detail/bm...netv/734012297 ,how the ISf compares to its competition , I still think the 2008 Lancer Evo is better for that type of racing, the ISf will perform better at the drag strip,

IMO its not worth the cost difference. Keep the IS350 and boost it and do a few mods to it. I went to the track event Lexus had and I would not trade my 350 for it.

I just traded my IS350 today for the ISF. I hadn't had the 350 for even a full year yet until 2 more weeks but after test driving the F it was a no brainer. It's so damn fast it's not even funny and not to mention how wicked it sounds under full throttle. Cost me a little to do this but it was worth it. Don't get me wrong, I loved my 350 to death but this is basically the same car only way faster, better handling, better sounding, bigger tires, better braking and a sweet body style with the side vents behind the front wheel and the rear spoiler.

Didn't have the car off the dealers lot 5 miles and some punk kid in a mustang wanted to go and I embarassed him in front of his G/F. Left him standing still, then he caught up to me and tried to pass me as I was going 70 mph down the 4 lane and he got a running start and I waited for him to get close and I opened it up. Let's just say he never got to my door and I was pulling away from him. Me from a steady 70 mph and him with a running start probably at around 90 mph and I still blew him away.

Default IS350 0-60 time vs ISf

the ISf can do 0-60 around 4.5 seconds stock, the IS350 with the stock performance package can do it in 4.9 seconds, https://www.clublexus.com/forums/sho...d.php?t=364295 , both cars can accelerate Fast, so when it comes to performance is not a BIg difference, the only way for Lexus to sell more ISf is to drop the IS350 from the market in my opinion.
