Default IS-F Sales

Do you think they will sell as predicted with the economy slumping?

Default Me Too!!

Like having one of a kind as well. I have had my ISF for about almost 4 months and not seen another on the freeway or around town; also it attracts attention from strangers.

Live in Southern Cali and have not seen one yet. But saw one in Chicago last week on vacation parked in front of the Omni hotel. Car looks absolutely beautiful.

It's strange, but Lexus enthusiasts don't seem as loyal as the German makes when it comes to "new" products. With the economy slumping, BMW has actually seen a slight rise in sales (thanks more to Mini) across all divisions, except for motorcycles, surprisingly.

It seems in a bad economy, the M fans will continue to buy their M's, but the IS-F is too new to have any sort of loyal following, but I would not be surprised if sales did not meet target for this year, or next year model.

Hopefully the slump will continue long enough to get one before gas prices drop. I'd like to get a deal on one!

We don't know how well its doing/not doing, Lexus won't seperate sales numbers. FYI BMW Is slumping too.

I HOPE it does well so OTHER Lexus F-cars are produced. Otherwise, it might get discontinued like L-tuned...

well.. actually theres some reason for this... lexus came out with the most expensive cars in there line up the past year or so...

LX570, LS600hl..

Meanwhile, the lower priced cars are a couple model years old... while bmw has the new 1 series.. the 3 series is kind of new and a 5 series.. all which are much much cheaper then the new lexus models...

Lexus actually is doing quite well with IS-F sales, especially in comparison to the M3 Sedan (not coupe) and C63 AMG.

I wouldn't think that from the pricing I've been given. I would have thought they'd be selling at MSRP without fail if they were moving well.

Economy + soaring gas prices are going to hurt all the performance lux sedans.

They're selling well above their actual projections for the first 3 months of sales. They are certainly doing well even with the discounts given. The fact that it has no gas guzzler tax makes it more attractive than it's Euro counterparts.
