Why can't the rear wheels have aggressive lip? Today's custom wheel builders can work wonders.
Knowing most car owners, they are not willing to mod the rear quarter panels UNLESS they want to or absolutely have to due to the fact that they already bought the wheels.
Plus the ISF rear calipers are monstrously bigger then any 3GS/2IS, that means if you want a deep lip without having the face domed out face you have to sacrifice lippage. To think of it, you can't really dome out the face because the spokes might not clear the caliper.
I remember reading about a member or rather one of the 1st ISF on board with wheels went with 2" lips all around due to rear caliper clearance. The offsets were conservative because they did not want to mod the fenders/quarter panels.
I think the size and offset are perfect in that picture, but I am not digging the wheels. I don't like the chrome hardware on the wheels or the blue lip. I think it would have looked better if they were all black.
I really havent seen a set of wheels on a ISF yet I have remotely liked. Everybody always trys to be flashy, well it isn't a low rider, it is a sports sedan. get something conservative that is smooth and flows well. I think a nice set of Iforged or maybe a set of Work Varianzas would look great in a 20 inch form or lowered with 19s.
