I saw one on showroom floor at Beverly Hills Lexus as I was driving by the other day, but today it was replaced with a black one. I don't know if the red was sold....Give them a call.

Before the IS-F was released and I'd only seen photos of the Matador Red, I didn't like the color - but after seeing one in person, I changed my mind. It's a really stunning color, especially in the sunlight, and manages to work well with the look and shape of the IS-F.

There's one in the back at Keyes Lexus. I was about to get it, but the dealer told me its been back there for 4 months lol.

I drove a red IS-F this Saturday at the Lexus event. It's a stunning color in person but I want something a little more stealth.

By the way if you haven't driven this thing on track, it's a BEAST.

So why didnt you get it? What was the reason for it being back stocked?

I actually was about to get it. I didn't get it because the dealer said no one wanted it. His reason was because red is not a typical color that people would want (which is why they stock a bunch of blacks and whites). For that reason alone, he said it's hard to resell compared to other colors. I think that's why it was all the way in the back of the showroom and has been in stock for quite a period of time.

Red was my second choice behind the SGM. I think it looks really nice especially with the two-tone interior.

I drove one a few months back at a dealer in Seattle, thought the color looked great on the IS-F.

The Red is fantastic. I saw on at a dealer in March that had tinted windows on it and really set off the color along with the gunmetal wheels.

Thanks, that's more my style. The local dealers I visited had the black, white, grey and silver. Claimed there were no reds at all and I'd need to wait for a blue on special order.

I don't know why they didn't offer to do a dealer search for me, in spite of showing up in my clean Corvette and my wife owning a RX400.

I'd prefer something other than black in the interior, but I think it might work in red. Would like to see it in person to see whether it suits me.
