so LexISguy what is your opinion so far with your new intake
Just curious as to what you think so far. I have only seen one other post/w video of someone that was very happy with their intake. Did you do the entire installation yourself?

My dyno w/ srt intake + piggyback ecu. As you can see, I gained ~8HP at the top end, lost HP at the low end, and lost torque across the board. No where near their claimed gains of 20HP/TQ. They actually based their initial claim of 20HP/TQ off of testing of ONE (1) car. After they began shipping, apparently several people had their cars dynoed and ran into the same exact situation I did (loss of HP/TQ), and some allegedly gained SOME HP/TQ. You cannot state a product offers an average of 20HP/TQ when you only test it on one vehicle.
SRT has allegedly "fixed" this issue and are sending out new ECU's. I have declined their offer as I feel they misrepresented their product in the first place, and expect me to incur additional costs for the ECU re-install. Since I already don't trust them, I would want to have another dyno done to prove it works as advertised; and they also refused to offer any compensation for that either. It's pretty clear they are not concerned about customer satisfaction. They (by they, I mean the owner) "offered" to accept a return on the intake for a 25% restocking fee.

oztiks- just so you know you should get that graph redone to show SAE instead of STD. The temps, pressure, etc can all affect the results. Can you tell us if this before/after was done on the same day at least?

Two stock runs were done, and 3 runs were done with intake. The first stock run and the first intake run are what were provided in this graph as they yielded the best results.

Yes, very disappointing. I am going to be switching back to the stock intake. I really like the sound of the SRT intake, but not enough to sacrafice performance AND give lexus a warranty loophole on a $65k car. Thanks for the welcome. Love the -F.
