What about using your phone (I heard about the I Phone) to form a baseline for dyno results? Then when you add a modification, you can see if there is a gain. Might not be completely accurate for overall HP, but useful if you want to see a gain. I think i read about it in a magazine:

Following up -
Has anyone who has the SRT intake for the IS-F received the "new" ECU they claim to have out, yet?

So basically from what I can surmise no one has received the alleged "update" that SRT has for the IS-F "race ecu". I have spent several MONTHS in arbitration against SRT and it all recently ended when the credit card company decided in my favor based on the extensive documentation I provided them, proving the utter lies and bad business practices that SRT conducts themselves under. "Mo" (owner of SRT) assured me before that if I was to challenge him via my credit card that he would win, and then followed up with blatant lies saying that he had "already won the dispute and there were just a few things to be finalized"; when in the end the CC ended up siding with me.
To anyone who has an SRT intake installed on their -F, think twice. Do a dyno run at least, see what you are putting out. I'd be willing to bet you are losing TQ/HP mid-range vs the STOCK -F's. I can only imagine what other potential long term damage can come from the "race ECU" that SRT produces.
Now that it's out of arbitration i'll be getting it removed ASAP.

A member on the forums took his car to SRT and had it retuned and basically after his dyno the car was back at more or less stock levels after losing almost 20whp. I never came around to dynoing my car since I seen all the bad reviews I just installed the JoeZ which shows dyno proven gains.
