If you don't have your camera, sometimes you miss the moment and can never get it back.

So you downloaded the application? I briefly tried it last night but will try again tonight. It would be interesting to use it when you take off in your 757 (of course in airplane mode). But you'd have to take off from a complete stop and not a rolling take off. It would be interesting to see your Skidpad G meter.

As for car, I like the RS4 as well. I owned a V8 S4 once and it was great other than the electrical issues it had. I still look on the Audi board once in a while to see if they have problems and they do. The Audi was one of my favorite cars but one of the worst service wise. C63 is a monster and would love to have one of those too!
I had a similar experience with Audi when I had an older A4. The worst service ever.... I actually sold the car because they pissed me off so badly. Back then they paid for the maintenance so the dealership was the only game in town. I too like the C63 but am concerned about the maint. there as well. I've owned a few Lexi in my life, a GS430, GS300 and RX300. They were all great cars with no soul. I've always maintained if Lexus ever made a car with ***** (no offense Cathy) I'd buy it. I guess the time has come.

GREAT idea for using the dyno app! There was a trip in open flying today the was a ferry flight from LAX to Orange County.... about a 6 minute flight. If you did a max thrust takeoff in that 757.... woah. It would be interesting to compare that to a 767 going to Maui loaded up. Thanks for the idea! I'll post the results when I get them! I tried a few starts but ran into traffic or dorked up the launch so don't have any good data. One thing that mine does is list 0-10, 0-20 etc. times up to 0-50. Do you know of any way to get 0-60 times listed?? Can't get mine to go about 0-50, which I found to be kind of silly.

Yup it is. I was in the area and passed by. I'm sure you're going to want new pictures especially with your new wheels. Looking forward to Sunday

You'll get it soon enough. I know sometimes it's a painful wait.

Nice! The last one is my favorite. So, I promised that I wouldn't ask any more questions, but it's almost August, so I'm going to cheat.

HDR at night? I tried some city scapes in the evening, and when I went to Tone Map, they totally blew out the color... Looked horrible. If I did a straight exposure blend it worked fine, but is there something I'm missing? Does HDR not really work at night?

Thanks!

(By the way, your pictures alone might be enough to convince my fiance that I need to get the IS-F. She now thinks its the hottest car out there. Nice work!)

Yes HDR works at night too. I agree that HDR sometimes can be tricky. If you don't do it right, the shadows are too highlighted and it looks awful. Really making an HDR isn't hard, making it look perfect by making adjustments is tricky. Here's an HDR I took of Providence RI.

Son-Of-A-Bisquit. There must be something I'm not doing right because mine came out NOTHING like that!! I just selected the 3 frames (+-2 stops) and generated the HDR. Then when I hit tone mapping it looked like I threw up orange soda all over the image! I'll have to keep playing. Thanks for letting me know that its possible, and that it is operator error (as usual).

Sigh.
