go for it...you won't regret it just make sure your installer has done an isf before yours or you will not be happy with the results i learned that lesson the hard way, the front bumper is just too difficult for first timers.

Thanks for sharing! I'm getting mine done this week, but opted not to do the partial hood because I don't want any visible seams on the hood. The only other route is to do the entire hood and that's not very cost effective. Can you see the seam on your hood? What if dirt or dust gets trapped at the edge?

They do a great job, the file they use is great (venturshield), and the cost is great as they do it for wholesale (what they charge the dealer) direct to you! Anyone looking to get this done in IL hit them up They do the dealers in Westmont and in Chicago so some of you may have run into them already!

When the time comes, plan to get in touch with you on these guys too!

Wax issues- I absolutely coat all my cars in Meguiars, they are the best products bar none... issues at the seam of the Clear Bra? I would rather go right to the edge and if you aren't supposed to wax the film, I would be nervous about the effect... I wax with Meguiars every other week for 2 months on ALL my new cars.... more info on this as I read in the post above???... thx!

with the ultrasonic blue i wouldn't worry too much about it showing on the hood but from my research it is the worst on white at first i thought it was going to bother me since i'm such a *****ing neat freak but overall it's not really noticeable unless you look for it......and a chip on this huge hood will not look good better to cover it than repaint the whole thing if u really don't care about chips in your paint don't bother with any type of coverage.

the shop who did my install gave me a couple cans of some plastic cleaner that's safe on paint and will keep the bra looking invisible and will take of any dirt or wax on the edges with ease, i use it every time i wash the car-another tip is to keep your car washed regularly otherwise the bra will start to stain and yellow.....the more plastic cleaner i pass on mine the less i see it:
