Like the regular 09 ISx50, the interior gets the mild update to the center instrument panel, power window & doorlock buttons and switch plate.

 

Looks like part of the revision is to put the steering wheel on the right

 

Compared to the regular IS250/350, the center cluster of the F features a darker face:

 

did they push back the navi unit? mine does not tilt back like that. well at least i dont think so.

 

It's just a photoshop image of the Lexus marquee on the screen that's too skewed, but yes the screen is angled from the factory.

I could care less about the wood trimming....not that appealing to me...maybe for the older people, but i'm 28 and i just can't stand the look of it.

atleast they improved and got rid of that as$tray....such a waste of space....if youre not a smoker...

 

hoping it will be possible to make such box from ash-tray without big modifications..

 

Actually that box is an option and has been an option for the 2IS since 2006. For us in North America, if you were to install that box, you would lose the extra DC plug and ashtray, but will have an extra sunglass holder/compartment.

 

The following are interior design enhancements on IS F:
• Revised instrument panel center cluster design
• Illuminated “TEMP” indicator on center cluster
• Piano black center cluster finish for navigation equipped vehicles
• Moonroof open/close switch changed to see-saw type
• Illuminated mirror controls

 

Seems subtle which is good.... I agree on losing the wood trim... I like this more and more with each passing day ... chomping at the bit to get all in order so I can proceed with my future purchase

 

Like everyone said, the changes appear to be subtle which is good I agree about the wood, I've never been a big fan of wood in any of my cars, let alone sports cars like the F

 

Any extra space/compartment for loose coins is more than welcome. Imagine the gas tank is on empty and you forgot your wallet. Those loose coins come in pretty handy. The gas station attendant may give you a funny look but at least you don't get stranded

 

Look closely at the instrument cluster ... the 09 IS-F gets silver surrounds on the instrument cluster which look very similar to the surrounds on the LF-A concept instrument cluster.

I think this is hinting that the production LF-A is coming very soon, and I think that all F models will have these silver surrounds.
