Question about popping the trunk
I was just wondering if this is happening for anyone else. When I pop the trunk, it doesn't lift up at all. It does unlock, but doesn't lift. Could it be still too new?

The "trunk release" is not designed to "pop" the trunk like they did in the old days...esp with the big american cars. The trunk is simply to heavy to pop up with all the sound deadening, wiring, the taillamps and the backup cam. Trunks are no longer just lids that cover the rear, they have more stuff on it than most.
If you have ever looked trunk lid hinges and the torsion bars that help spring them up, they are all covered up to keep them from smashing down on your luggage.
