Tires, life and rotation
Just got my first rotation done. I just noticed that the Potenza tread is molded only one way, meaning the outer tread is swept back on one side, and forward on the other. This goes for both front and back. Rotation direction is not specified, only outside sidewalls are. Maybe I'm new to this approach, but I assumed symmetry was preferred.
Also, when I dismount for winter wheels or deep wheel cleaning, does anyone know the torque spec for the lugnuts? The service rep guessed 70 pounds without looking it up. Owners manual doesn't seem to list it.
And just curious, has anyone yet burned through their factory rubbers? What kind of mileage did you acheive?

Torque spec is 76 ft-lbs for all Toyota products with only a couple of exceptions in SUVs and trucks.

I have ended my rear bridgestone tires in 15.000 km. They worn (or should I say burn) down very evenly I should say. Front one are looking as new, though I had some hard track days..
PS2 comes next, just after my winter lm-25

yeah i agree with lobuxracer...there is no tire rotation on the F or 350...U cant even rotate the front ones because then they are going the opposite direction of the tread...and the back ones are diffrent size, so how would you rotate..?
