Default Things you dislike or would change.....

Pretty self explanatory. Let me start off by saying, I LOVE THIS CAR, but like most F owners, we are pretty critical, so let me start the list:

1. Steering wheel: Too skinny and basically a reskined wheel from the 250/250.
2. No Ventilated Seat: At this price point, ventilated seats should have been standard
3. iPod: No iPode interface. wtf!
4. Fog lights: Would like to be able to turn on fog lights without having to turn on driving lights.
5. Excessive brake dust
6. #1 Complaint: The poor decision to paint the calipers black. A red or yellow caliper would look incredible and would highlight perhaps the best brake package out there. (Anyone out there paint their calipers?)

Softer spring dampening bounce
Trip & Odo in 1 screen.
Fuel / engine temp gauges too low
Fuel consumption / AVG MPG / AVG Fuel per tank / AVG MPH / Outside Temp should interface w/ Nav.

I love the car as you said NILEPIMP
Perhaps the thing I would change/want most would be ventilated seats as supposed to heated seats, or at least have it as an option

I'm going to paint my calipers soon, just haven't decided what color. I might due blue to match the highlighting of the F badges

Stiffer springs with slightly lower ride height. Or better yet, adjustable suspension.

1) Better suspension. I don't mind a stiff ride, but the suspension travel seems very short to me.
2) Better steering feel.
3) Tailpipe tips like the LS460 or something. I hate the stacked pipes.
4) Better material on the steering wheel. It feels "dry" to me. Alcantara would've been nice.
5) Shed 300lbs
6) Wider rear tires
7) Wider rear fenders
8) To be able to lift the center arm rest without having to slide it back first.
9) Be able to shut off 4 cylinders when cruising on the freeway to save gas.
10) Nav that allows input while in motion (i know there's a hack)
11) DVD playback while in motion (i know there's a hack)

That's all for now...

I'd have to agree with most if not all of these!

Does anyone know why there is a redundant temperature reading? There is a digital one and a gauge... aren't they showing the same thing? Or am I mistaken?

Realisticly Lexus could have done the following to the ISF...

Lower the front end about 1/2 inch to close up the gap, and ventilated Seats especially here in Florida.

You can reset the door locks so that when you open the driver's door all doors unlock, both front and rear. I don't remember exactly how it was done but that is how I have mine now and I like it. Women don't like it because it makes them more vulnerable to someone entering from the passenger side when they get into the car.

If I am not mistaken, one is oil temp and the other is engine temp.
The only thing I would change is paddles attached to steering column instead of steering wheel. Aestheticaly I widh the rear end was wider by about 1/2 in on each side and the wheels were pushed out to the outer edge of fenders

One of the first things I complained about when I drove the car was that the paddles were attached to the wheel, I much prefer them attached to the column like a Gallardo has.

About 200 more horsepower. Ventilated seats - but I hear that the seats are too low to allow for the motor and stuff. Better jack/hardware - that metal rod used to turn the scissor jack is like the softest metal in the world - is it aluminum?

Nice license plate...I have the exact same one

As discussed on another thread the ventilated seats won't fit in this vehicle due to the addtional height that is required from them.

Is the ipod interface an option in the US....because mine has one and sounds great

Are all the calipers in the US black....mine are black with SGM...but I have seen the Ultrasonic Blue with beautiful blue calipers up here.

My IS F is only a month old and I'm still having way to much fun with it....I'm sure I'll come up with something to add to the list at a later date....lol
