All I know is that with me in the car the weight is 3830lbs. This is with slightly below 1/4 tank of gas, removed spare/tools and engine cover. Really no way around the weight debate without getting on the big car scales.

well cool.. I am looking forward to seeing if you guys can hit the 12.3x zone. You guys are already hitting a full 1.0 second faster than most "fast" is350's which is really good. Especially good considering your 60' times are the same or worse than is350.

you guys too much power

We'll see. IDK if I'll get traction. If it hooks I say 12.6's. If not I think 14.5's. My car is not one of the faster IS's. I ran 13.2 - .5 sec from the Nitrous = 12.7.

I think you can grip. I'd take a friend with you and go buy a can of VHT and just use that. On my 13.2 runs I just brake torqued up to 3000 with no wheel spin. Granted this is on the world famous ennis texas motor speedway track which has VHT all over it. Like you can't even stage without hearing your tires stick.

Man i was getting out of dragging my IS, but you guys got me wanting to do it again this fall. I might have to drop 500.00 on that n2o express kit with a 50 shot and throw the supra 17"s back on

When are you going to the track next and what track do you go to?

To Caymandive:
I am really looking forward to see what you run at the world cup finals this year. MIR is an excellent track. On par with Ennis but even 300ft. closer to sea level. Would like to see you come home with another trophy.

^ I going this Sunday Nov2nd. The track is Rockingham, NC. I kinda worried about the weather. Temp 65 - Humd - 60% - Overcast and we just had our first week of below freezing temps at night, so the track will be slick. I might go get some VHT thats a good idea. If i do hook you'll see the lowest 60' times from an IS yet. I'll say 1.7's

Wooooahhh.. 1.7?? That's getting down into wrx/sti range there. You hit a 1.7 60' i'll chip in a 5.00 paypal payment to your account for a tasty beer of your choice.

For real on the vht. You will stick like a ****. Just have someone spray it on your tire right as you post up to the tree. heheh I always want to drink vht because it smells like grape coolaide.

Good luck.

Good luck HKS350 tomorrow! BTW, I finally got to taking a picture of the timeslip. Check out my run against the Old classic car (can't remember which one). He had the hole shot and was still ahead at the 1/8th but in the last 200 yards or so, I flew by him as he shifted into the next gear! It was the closest come-from-behind race I ever had.

I'm curious to see your 60' time. AFAIK, the 1.904 is the fastest 60' for 2nd gen IS that I know of. I'm guessing you're using drag radials because of your 1.7 60' prediction.

Default Fastest IS350 ???

Here it is guy's. My one and only run today. The track was crowded and had two breakdowns that took 1hr each to clean up. I only got one run in. Their were two other CL members with me and a crappy video. Here is the time slip. I am left lane/Holcomb.

STATS:
R/T .....0.304
60' ......1.912 I can get better, this is on 20" wheels spining.
330......5.293
1/8 .....8.093
MPH.....88.19
1000....10.522
1/4 ......12.558
MPH.....109.65

72 degree's , I ran around 12:30 if anyone wants to look up the DA. You can hear my tire hop and the IS catching the revlimit in every gear. I really hate the shift speed on the 2IS. Sorry you can't make out the ET at the end of the track. But you can catch my car #29 on the rear window which is also on the time slip.

Nice job Jeremy! Can't believe you only got 1 run in the whole day.

Thanks, and i can't believe it also. Another member KC95SC400 sat in his car all day just to pull off three runs. I couldn't do it, I had to get out. I know I can gat down to 12.4's easy I was going to pull the pass seat today, but the line became to long.

I'm adding you to my 2IS drag strip journal with the update. Can you look it over and let me know what needs corrected? Hope to see you back at the track soon with those 20s off the car.

Thanks fellas, I'm most impressed by the 1/8 mile time. KC95SC400 was running 12.8's on his supercharged SC400. I didn't know those were that fast supercharged.
