-3 lbs for engine cover - just the center one for better engine cooling
-36 lbs for spare/jack/tools
-6 lbs for trunk mat
-40 lbs for rims/tires

total for me 85 lbs but VERY low fuel load (0 miles to empty)

Key word being consistent as they will not yield quicker ETs. Reason being the stall speed on the tranny is too low to give a powerful jump out of the hole so the best way to get quicker launches is by going with a lighter weight wheel/tire combo as tooth doc has and other weight reductions such as running low fluid levels (gas, windshield) and not being overweight helps too.

-7 lbs (engine covers)
-6 lbs (trunk mats)
-36 lbs (spare/jack/tools)
-26.5 lbs (lightweight battery kit)
TOTAL 75.5lbs
So not quite 100lbs but closer to 75lbs is easily achieved without stripping the car into a un-Lexus type ride.
Thx for the info guys BTW, Cayman, I'm proud to be in your journal for the 2is btw (even if I am the slowest at 13.2. Can you confirm again, the reason for just the .5 second difference in your best IS350 vs. IS-F times? Is it simply because you'd done more mods to the 350, and fewer to the IS-F, besides weight reduction?

Also, I noticed you had better times in the 350 with ECT/Power mode disengaged, right? Not the case for the F, relating to Sport mode?

The biggest reason for the .5 second difference is the inability to get the IS-F off the starting line. The IS350 was lighter and geared pretty well esp with the 245/35/18 tires. The trap speed on the other hand really shows a huge difference between the IS350 and IS-F.

As for the 350 with ECT/Pwr mode disengaged..it's true that you will get better times with running the car in standard mode not ECT/Pwr. The IS-F on the other hand must be used in manual mode to get the best times by utilizing the torque converter lock ability from gears 2 through 8.
