My IS-F Test Drive Experience

I think that everyone can talk about specs and this and that, but in the end, you have to drive the car to love the car. I drove all 3 at the Lexus Performance Driving Event @ California Speedway earlier this year. I drove the IS250 + all F Sport mods, and IS350 (although i came in 2nd in our group with best autocross time in the GS450h, and i fell in love with the IS-F when we got to do lead/follow and the hot lap with the instructor.
But...one drive is not enough....

People complain about no stickshift and then complain about the paddles not being mounted to the steering column. If I'm not mistaken, isn't the shifter in the ISF mounted in the same location that a manual shifter would be?? So what's the difference in shifting with the shifter in the ISF and a manual around a corner?? It's the same thing. Am I missing something here or are people just becoming really lazy?
I ain't gonna explain it, because you ain't gonna get it no matter what I say.

^^^ you know come to think of it I drove it a total of 4 times before I just decided I could have it in my driveway. Once at SEMA and 3X at the dealer. It sticks to you...like "Cos-Stanza" anyway. I used to be a hardcore manual guy and then I got my gen one IS. I was quickly weened off the manual when I got every gear. Different, yes, maybe decoupled more, absolutely. But I guess I am more of a video game driver now.

To ME the IS-F doesn't feel heavy to the IS 350 stock but it DID after driving back to back to the IS 350 F-sport.
Lexus has a problem with having a big, superb engine in a chassis that sometimes feels overpowered.
The IS-F shines on big roadcourses, less so on small ones, but so does most anything else that heavy.
