because even with rust proof warranty it's still a hassle bringing in a car that has rust issues...the 3m will just save time for bringing in the car and leaving it there with them...it's not too expensive for 3m(250 bux cad from my local dealer) and yes it's not that pretty but 3m would save me time of leaving my car at a paint shop every few years to get the hood repainted.

yup.. very true.. the only thing that really gets a car looking bad, is leaving road salt for extended amounts of time... but these cars have i think a 6 year rust warranty...

Uhm.. anyone driven through florida during love bug season? Don't wash your car for two+ days and see what happens to the paint.... then you'll get a "clear" (no pun intended) idea of what people do the 3M clearbra.

Regarding it discoloring, peeling, etc; i can only attribute that to copycat garbage. The 3M shield I had on my previous cars never had a single issue, the only issue i've had is with this non-3M crap Hennessey Lexus installed on my -F.

Whoa that sucks... does insurance cover the clear bra? If so, how do you get your insurance to do that? Is it automatically covered?

the lip was left off from when the dealer replaced the bumper bc I wanted to get it repainted

insurance automatically covers the clearbra. it's part of what was damaged. they've always covered any aftermarkets parts for me that have been damaged in an accident.

The rust warranty only covers rust from the inside out, or, rust stemming from a manufacturer defect. Rock chips/road hazards are neither.
