personally, 140mph on a hov lane. and by a tech in my car, he hit 190mph on the dynometer and speedometer. and yes i know it's typically governed at 170.

I've autocrossed the car... it was way to heavy to be real competitive, but still fun and surprisingly good for such a large mass

I've also had it to the governor as well

I'll probably be doing a week of tracks next summer at infineon and laguna seca which will really test the cars limits.

163 on I-75 vs a 07 M5.
We must of started the race at 100 and he pulled on me for the first two second maybe by like 1 1/2 cars and then once we past 120 it was stalemate. we flew all the way up to 160 - 165 until i noticed my hood started vibrating a little bit from the wind. Needless to say i let off.
I pulled up to him after we slowed down and he rolled down the window and said "Man, that things pretty fast." I was like yeah i thought you were gonna murder me. It was fun.

I would assume that a dyno test does not qualify since there is no wind (drag). Perhaps you could even hit 200 on a dyno...

my story wins! i work for Lexus as a tech. and heres my story...this is a post from another forum i used to be on

so i didnt race anyone but heres what i got....as some of you know i work for lexus of charleston....and this past wed. the tech. service adviser who comes to the dealership once a month brought the IS-F....416 HP...EIGHT speed paddle shifted beast. and he was letting everyone "experience" it (aka letting people drive the **** out of it lol) and i was talkin to the tech service adviser and i asked him if it had launch control...and he was like "no...its a pretty straight forward car, wanna drive it?"...now needless to say, i said yes lol. so i get the guy on the other side of the shop to ride with me after i finshed workin on the car i was on....now im only 20, and the guy that i let ride with me is 21 lol behind 416HP! so i drive WAY out of town which i dont have to go really far...was only about 10 miles lol...and omg this car is just crazy! the ride is stiff and hardcore....the pull from 40 to 60 is crazy! and the sound...omg i almost creamed myself....so i get way out and the road is 2 lanes going one way, a grass median and 2 lanes going the other way...so i downshift with the paddles and haul *** casue on one is on the road im on and its a LONG straight road....i hit 160 mph, fastest ive ever been lol. and i pull into this little cut across and stop and let my co-worker drive...there was too many cars on the way back for him to do anything...so he turns around an goes the way i was going and he hit 150 mph....and turns around and now were going back to the dealership...and in the other 2 lanes he passes a cop doin 98 mph and he didnt even think about it, he just downshifted and hauled ***! and it took a good long while for the cops to catch up and when they did, i just told him to pull over...its not worth it anymore lol....so he did....he went to jail and was clocked at 98 mph and 112 mph in a 55 mph zone lol he lost his job and everything and when we got pulled over my manager had to come pick me and and the tech. serive adviser had to drive the IS-F back lol i thought i was gonna get my *** chewed out like nobodys business but all he said to me was "just be glad it wasnt you buddy, cause theres only 2 ways to drive that car, you either buy it and let it sit, or you drive it like an *******" LMAO! omg what a crazy *** week.

Ours topped off at 170 mph on the dyno..

Sorry to bring this up from the dead, but it stops at 172 (drafting) midway thru 7th gear.

This was done following a Ferrari Scuderia and a Lamborghini Gallardo. E90 M3, Porsche Cayman, 370z Nismo and Lotus were WAY behind. F held its own.
