ha ha ok.. so you will not admit that you misread my statement, and now you are accusing me of non-sense. What's up with the disrespect for a fellow F owner? Since you love drag times, that's exactly what I'll use. I won't even go into all the different factors and conditions that can affect the times, cuz apparently you do not care.

The quickest stock C63 on drag times with a time slip is 12.476. In comparison, the quickest stock IS-F with a time slip is 12.441, with another one coming in at 12.466. Both are faster than the C63. I'm sorry, but I'm not the one with the non-sense. (And how is it proof when the C63 12.3 time doesn't even have a time slip?)

If you would like further evidence, feel free and browse through all the comparisons in the review thread. Most of the tests, which are done back-to-back in similar conditions, show all 3 cars (M3/C63/IS-F) with varying but similar acceleration numbers, but obviously with a certain amount of deviation depending on the test. The only thing for certain is that the M3 is consistently faster on the track than both. You would have made more sense if you argued that the M3 is the quickest car.

No disrespect intended....again, we agree to disagree. I have spent months doing research Road & Track, Edmunds, Top Gear, Autoweek, 0-60 magazine, Modified Luxury, and the quickest numbers I have found was a 0-60 run of 4.1 and 12.3 1/4 mile by you guessed it, the C63 AMG.

Who cares anyway you're right, we own one of the baddest golf club carrying machines around


What do you think the IS-F could run with slicks at sea level? I'm thinking 12.2's!!!!

And you can't deny the trap speed for the AMG.....that car is a freaking torque monster

The C63 is probably faster in the 1/4 (based on numbers). Having said that, the highest trap speed of a STOCK IS-F and C63 belongs to the IS-F @117 mph. Also, the quickest ET is also the IS-F. Perhaps the C63 guys don't know how to drive or maybe there just aren't enouhg #'s on dragtimes to give a good representation.

trapping 117 is highly unlikely. Look at your trap speed when you ran a 12.4? Not even close.

There are variances in tracks and definitely the weather has an impact. So, yes, 114 is my best trap at GLD (so far). But Caymandive's is 116. Do you have proof that the guy that ran 117 is lying? AFAIK, he's got a slip to prove it. Before my days in my IS-F are over, I can practically guarantee I'll see 116+ with no power mods and very minimal weight mods (like removing spare tire and having racing rims).

What does any of this quarter mile stuff have to do with the video? Please - let's stay on topic. Open another thread if you want to Internet bench race on quarter mile times as it has nothing to do with the videos we see here from the OP.

Oops. Sorry... BTW, the video was cool. One of the FEW videos where the IS-F is actually praised. What happened? Was this dude paid or something? It always did bother me a little that the IS-F has/had been receiving such bad reviews from so many magazines etc. It's a breath of fresh air to see that video!
